I have been in lending for entire adult life since graduating from Business College with an Associate’s Degree in accounting. The accounting background was helpful but I enjoyed getting engaged with my clients and taking on the role of problem solver. I take a lot of personal satisfaction in helping buyers get into a new home and I find it personally rewarding. I also try to attend all of my closings to make sure things go as smoothly as possible. I was honored to become part of the realtors to find the best program and the best rate possible. I was honored to become part of the Ruoff team. I became familiar with Ruoff when I was on the wholesale side of the lending business in the mid 1990’s and I knew they had an excellent reputation within the industry. When I saw the team they were putting together for the Michiana area, I couldn’t resist the opportunity. I have been very impressed with the attitudes of every single Ruoff employee and the lengths they go to, to meet client’s expectations and closing commitments. I am licensed to lend in Indiana and Michigan. I specialize in helping first time homebuyers and those wanting to purchase second home on lake properties.

I grew up I Syracuse, Indiana but I have lived in the Michiana area since 1982. I now live in the Edwardsburg, Michigan with Lisa, my wife of 21 years. We have a son Kyle who lives in Tulsa Oklahoma with his wife Carrie. They have blessed us with two beautiful granddaughters and there is a grandson on the way.

Outside of the office I enjoy playing golf and boating. I belong to the Edwardsburg Lion Club, and support the Edwardsburg Sports Complex. I have involved in many community projects over the years including United Way, where I have been a Unit and division chairman. The Exchange Club of Mishawka and I have been a trustee and served on the finance committee of my church. I have served as a past President for the Northern Indiana Chapter of the Mortgage Brokers Association and belong to the Greater South Bend-Mishawaka Association of Realtors, Inc as an Affiliate member.
