Are you the one we are looking for? Locally owned and operated Ruoff Home Mortgage is seeking a .Net Developer for our growing team! This is a great opportunity for those that have recently completed a degree or in the processes of completing a degree!

Position will be located at our new Corporate Headquarters in Ft. Wayne, Indiana just off I-69 & Illinois Rd.

.Net Developer – Position Summary

The main responsibilities of the .Net Developer are to design and modify computer applications.

Essential Responsibilities

  • ·Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing appropriate hardware, database and programming technology.
  • Improves systems already in place by studying current practices, identifying problems, designing modifications and writing improved procedures.
  • Maintain and modify programs; make approved changes by amending flow charts, develop detailed programming logic and coding changes.
  • Evaluate simple interrelationships between programs such as whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part.
  • Maintains records, logs and reports of problems and resolutions.
  • Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support and training users.
  • Confer with users to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs. Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls.
  • Maintains a professional image and standards consistent with company policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for a high level of confidentiality and security while handling company information; verbal and/or written documentation.
  • Performs other tasks as requested.

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate at a level consistent with the requirements of this position and to non-technical staff.

Locally owned and operated Ruoff Home Mortgage is looking for quality candidates with experience in mortgage lending or sales for our growing Expedite Home Loans online sales team at our new Corporate Headquarters in Fort Wayne, Indiana!

Candidates MUST either have experience in the mortgage industry, phone sales or be a recent graduate with a degree in a related field.

Great phone and interpersonal skills, excellent time management, drive and a self-motivated personality are paramount.

Must be high energy and have experience working in a fast paced environment; able to organize and be responsible for a large number of tasks in a variety of phases, by following up consistently and quickly to ensure the loans are always moving forward. Candidate must be self-motivated, organized and able to keep tasks organized and on schedule by using several software systems.

 

Position Summary

The Expedite Senior Loan Officer (SLO) is the primary company representative to our online community. This position facilitates individual applications and acts as a liaison between processing, underwriting, closing and the borrower.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Make sales calls on potential or existing customers, as assigned, to develop new business or retain existing business, including weekly distribution of rates and programs to clients.
  • Responsible for the overall customer interaction and interface with all parties involved on each individual loan that is originated from application to closing including, but not limited to: counseling and prequalifying potential home buyers; taking complete and accurate applications; obtaining all necessary support documents along with the appropriate fee and lock-in information; overseeing the loan process by monitoring loan status and ensuring conformity with terms; assisting in collecting additional documents and promptly communicating loan status to all interested parties, and obtaining loan documentation after closing.
  • Assure complete application process is completed in compliance with company policies and guidelines.
  • Stay informed of trends and developments in the real estate market and the competitive environment, as well as the changing rules and regulations pertaining to both private and government-insured mortgages.
  • Maintain a professional image and standards consistent with company policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for a high level of confidentiality and security while handling personal information; verbal and/or written documentation.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Employee must at all times be able to meet any and all applicable qualifications and standards required for Loan Officer Licensure under the SAFE Act.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate at a level consistent with the requirements of this position.
  • Must be comfortable working with the public, and able to make good decisions and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to write accurate reports and documents; holds self to a high level of quality.
  • Must be self-motivated and enthusiastic to obtain personal and company goals.
  • Ability to stay organized to easily retrieve information and documents as needed.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours. Must possess a valid driver’s license in the appropriate state.

 

Experience and Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, statistics or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years loan officer experience, or strong sales experience with demonstrated potential to transfer skills to mortgage origination. May consider less experience if recent college graduate.
  • Employee must remain current on any and all applicable registration, licensing and training obligations required under the SAFE Act and/or any other state, federal or local laws pertaining to Loan Officer Certification or standards.

 

Physical Demands:

  • Mostly sedentary, however, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop; talk and hear.
  • Extensive reading and computer use is expected more than 50% of the time. Receiving and expressing detailed information verbally, in person and by telephone is essential. Must be able to verbally communicate effectively with others.
  • Regular attendance is necessary and essential to this position.
