Hi, I’m Dawn McCarty Hoppes, Branch Manager at Ruoff Mortgage, and I’ve been proudly serving clients in the mortgage industry since 1994. With decades of experience as a loan officer, manager, and trainer, I’ve seen it all—and what’s never changed is my passion for helping first-time homebuyers achieve their dreams of homeownership.

I stay in close contact with my clients throughout the entire process. I believe communication and consistency are key, especially when navigating something as life changing as a mortgage. I also remind my clients that while the process can be tough at times, patience, and prompt paperwork, goes a long way and I’ll be right there with them every step of the way.

I specialize in first-time homebuyer programs and thrive on helping clients find the right solution for their unique needs. At Ruoff, I’ve found a company structure that fully supports success for both our team and the families we serve.

Outside of work, I’m all about horsepower, literally. I’m a competitive barrel racer and 2006 NBHA World Champion. My horses are my world, and my day usually starts and ends in the barn. From feeding to riding, they keep me grounded and focused. I also stay active in my community, hosting local fundraisers in the Downriver Michigan area to support charities and causes that matter.

My professional journey is backed by years of trusted relationships with top real estate agents and a long-standing commitment to the real estate community. I’ve earned honors like Affiliate of the Year and Chairperson of the Year through the Downriver Association of Realtors, and I bring the same leadership and dedication from the rodeo arena to the mortgage world.
