Amy is a long time Ann Arbor resident. She won “Best of 2017” mortgage lender for Ann Arbor and is a
top ten lender for MSHDA too. Amy is a member of the Ann Arbor Ypsilanti Chamber of Commerce,
Women’s Exchange of Washtenaw, and NAGLREP. She is the Branch Manager for both Ruoff Ann Arbor
and Ruoff Jackson with more than 25 years of lending under her belt. She has won loan officer of the

Amy studied Fine Art. She has a BFA from Wayne State University and still paints in her spare time using

racquet sports for golf.
Amy and her husband, Bill, have a modern, blended family with five adult children located in the
following areas: Cambridge, San Francisco, Chicago, Beaufort and one overseas in Germany. They are
always making time to travel and have a commitment to visit as many national parks in the next few
years as they can. So far, they can check off hikes in Grand Canyon north rim, Bryce, Zion and Yosemite.

Our home buying process ended up being very challenging due to a difficult FSBO seller and our non-standard setup (4 adults on one mortgage and deed). Recently I closed on a new home and I can't thank Amy enough for all the help she provided me during a very stressful time in my life. SPEEDY COMMUNICATION! My wife and I recently relocated across the country and wanted to buy a house ASAP. As soon as we reached out to Amy she immediately responded (around 11pm her time). As we began looking for houses, we had great communication with Amy, even after a couple of offers fell through. Because of our irratic schedule, we prefer instant communication nearly 24/7. So whenever we had an offer we wanted submit, Amy would respond within 30 minutes every single time. We were also vetting other loan officers and Amy was always the first to respond. During this process, Amy understood our financial situation and assured me that they could make it work. Rest assured, during the closing process she reached out right away if she needed anything from us and everything was painless. I would definitely use her again.
I switched over from another lender because my file is difficult due to the number of properties that I own. The other lender couldn't get the file organized and through underwriting even though I was very well qualified and it simply required some organizing and explaining. Amy and her team rocked this transaction and got it approved to close in 10 days when the previous lender was still making up new questions after 45 days. She was AMAZING!!! Additionally, she handled much of this while on vacation, which I felt really bad about. Nothing could have gone better. This was the smoothest and quickest transaction I have ever had.
