When you open the Ruoff Agent app for the first time, you will be presented with a login screen. If you already know your credentials, simply click on the “LOG IN” button, enter your email address and password, then click the “LOG IN” button again. For your convenience, your login information will be saved to your device and the next time you open the app you will already be signed in.
If you have forgotten your password, click the “LOG IN” button and then click the “Reset Password” link towards the bottom of the login page. Enter the email address that your account is registered with, then click the “Send Reset Link” button. In a few moments, you will receive a reset password email. Click the “Verify Email” button in the email and your web browser will redirect you to the web page where you can change your password. Enter your desired password and click the “Submit” button to complete your reset password request. You may now return to the app and log in using your email address and new password.
If you do not already have an account you can create one quickly and easily by clicking on the “Create an Account” link on login screen. This will bring up a short registration form for you to fill out. Enter your name, email address, desired password, and optionally select your preferred Ruoff Loan Officer. Finally, click the “Create Account” button. After a couple moments, you should receive a confirmation email. Click the “Verify Email” button in the confirmation email to complete your registration. You will then be able to return to the app and login using your credentials.
After logging in (or upon opening the app if your login credentials are already saved on your device) you will be presented with the home screen. On this screen, you get a quick at-a-glance view of your information.
Near the middle of the screen, you will see your total year-to-date closed loans, as well as the number of loans in which you were the buyer’s agent and seller’s agent.
Below that, you will see an up-to-date average of the Ruoff Home Mortgage Underwriting and Clear to Close turn times. This content may change.
This page gives you a quick overview of all of your current and recently closed loans with Ruoff Home Mortgage. You can swipe up and down to browse your list of loans or use the filter at the top of the page to narrow down the displayed results.
To filter your results, simply begin typing in the “Search for Files” box at the top of the page. The loans fitting within your search criteria will begin populating on the page.
Each loan preview also contains buttons that may or may not be available depending on the state of
They are as follows:
Upload Documents – Clicking this button will allow you to upload images or PDF files that you wish to be associated with this loan (such as purchase agreements). Your device may ask you to allow our app to access your device files/media. If you wish to use this feature you must click “Yes” to allow our app access to upload files from your device.
View Pre-Approval – This button will open the borrower’s pre-approval letter if available. For more information, you can click anywhere on the loan preview to view more detailed information about the selected loan.
Clicking a loan in the pipeline view will present you with more detailed loan information.
At the top of this screen, you will see the picture and contact information for the Ruoff loan officer associated with this loan.
Following that, you will see a list of the loan milestones and the date that each milestone was achieved, if applicable.
Finally, you will see miscellaneous loan information such as the borrower’s name, the subject property, associated real estate agents, title company, and closing date.
To leave this page, simply click on the back arrow at the top left of the screen or the “CLOSE” button at the bottom.
This page gives you access to view the Ruoff Home Mortgage marketing catalog. Here you will be able to view all the various types of marketing correspondence that can be ordered through your Ruoff Home Mortgage loan officer.
Select a category from the dropdown at the top of the page to view the options that we have available. You can click any of the items for a more detailed view.
Click the “Home” button on the bottom left of the screen in order to return to the main list.
This feature will allow you to introduce your client to one of our experienced loan officers.
To use this tool, simply select the loan officer you wish to refer. Enter the client’s name and cell phone number, then click the “Send Referral” link. This will bring up your default texting app with the information pre-populated – you just need to click send!
*NOTE* If you do not have a default texting app selected for your device, you will be prompted to select the app you wish to use.
Your client will receive a text message from you containing a hyperlink. This link will direct them to the selected loan officer’s application page. On this page, they can fill out their loan application, check their loan status, and upload/view documents associated with their loan. The selected loan officer will receive an email informing them of your referral so they can make prompt contact with your client.
Our application provides push notifications that update you when one of your client’s loans has reached a new milestone or when a pre-approval letter has been generated and is available to view.
