With over two decades of mortgage lending and executive experience, I merge hard-working, real-world expertise with cleverness, insight, humor, urgency, and care in my special approach to assisting my clients in finding the right loan program for them. As a Sr. Loan Officer, I know that my job is not simply to facilitate the loan; my job is to be a trusted counselor. Home-buying can be a difficult, stressful, and often scary experience. A great counselor allows clients to feel safe and provides excellent service every step of the way.
Continually seeking new personal and professional performance levels, I deliver success with attention to detail, personal challenges, and relentless follow-through. I pride myself on originality and progressive ideas. I believe that originating is a noble profession and that mortgage professionals who act in the best interest of their customers provide a valuable service to society.
After completing my 4-year collegiate career as a letterman for the Indiana University- Bloomington Men's Baseball Team, I graduated with a B.S. in Sports Marketing & Management. I began my mortgage career as a Loan Officer for Beazer Mortgage in 1999. I perfected my skill and progressed to management and executive positions for the mortgage arm of National Top Ten & Fortune 500 Homebuilder, Beazer Homes. I then flexed my entrepreneurial spirit and joined forces with Amy Robbins to head up the Robbins/Frantz Mortgage Planning Team through Fairway Independent Mortgage. In 2012, I seized the opportunity to join Midwest powerhouse Ruoff Mortgage as SVP - Area Manager of the Central Indiana division. Since joining Ruoff, I've helped build a team of nine branches with over 100 employees. On a personal loan origination note, I've reached the Scotsman's Guide of Top 1% Loan Originators in the US in 2019 and 2020.
I reside in Carmel with my wife, Erika, and our daughters, Lexie and Vivie. Erika is a Top Producing REALTOR with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services. Erika and I find deep happiness spending time with our family and friends and enjoying community and church activities. I was born and raised in Marion, Indiana. I have deep roots in Indiana and am proud to be a Hoosier.

The experience that my wife and I had with Ryan was above and beyond his scope of work. He knew exactly what we needed to do to get our loan approved. He told us from the very beginning that he didn't see a problem get us approved. Which in the end we got our dream house. He knows how the mortgage business works and he does a exceptional job. The communication was amazing. The whole process was so smooth, thorough, and enjoyable. We cannot say that about transactions with other mortgage companies we have had in the past.
