I can stand on my head; it’s a hidden talent I don’t perform every day! And while my career at Ruoff may not involve acrobatics, my days move fast and require a unique perspective. My dual roles of Sales Support Manager and Senior Loan Officer put me in a dynamic position to solve problems and find solutions. The mortgage industry is always changing and it’s a great feeling when my team and I can help our clients purchase the home they want or refinance into a better loan.

I love the constant changes and I never get bored! I’ve worked in the banking industry for more than two decades and if there’s anything I’ve learned it’s that questions are valuable. I encourage borrowers to ask anything and say anything that’s on their mind before proceeding. I think that borrowers should be comfortable and understand all the loan terms before moving forward. It’s also important to work with a loan officer who welcomes challenges.

I stay educated on a wide variety of loan types so that I can present many options to my customers. And although I choose not to focus on one specific area, USDA loans do have a place in my heart. I have been involved in 4-H and farming since childhood.

I live in a rural area with my husband and son, and we help my dad farm when time allows. Working as a team makes every project so much more successful; whether I’m helping on the family farm, serving as a project superintendent for 4-H, or working with home buyers at Ruoff. Hard work and long hours don’t feel like “work” when you remember to enjoy each day.
