I love helping homebuyers through the mortgage process in a way that not only allows them to make the very best mortgage decision possible but also provides the necessary transparency so that they are confident in that decision. I want to help you assess what you need, what you can comfortably afford, and work with you and your realtor to connect all the dots.

Outside of work, I am married to the smartest person I have ever met, my wife Sarah, and we have two incredible daughters, Elizabeth and Claire. We share our house with two dogs, Dolly and June, and some fish whose names change fairly regularly depending on how my kids feel that day. I love to cook for my family and seek out various birds across the state and country when I am able. I am a fan of Formula 1 racing, the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, and all Purdue athletics.

The home I had my herat set on was raised $10,000. I called David Mahaffa to see if he could get me approved for $10,000 more on my loan. He called back in less thann 30 minutes with a yes! He knew that time made a difference so he came through right away. I reccomend him to anyone!

This process couldn't have gone more smoothly. After a brief conversation, David had everything set and ready to go - we applied and got preapproved, sellers wanted a quick close and the team made it happen. I've never seen such a quick underwriting process and such open, active communication. Hats off to David and the team - no complaints at all.
