Hello there – I’m Nick! I feel that it’s important to get to know the person you’re working with, so here’s a little about me. To start, you should know the nicknames (no pun intended) that have been given to me by my clients and referral partners. I am honored that they have given me the names “Saint Nick,” "Nick the Night Owl," and “Nick the Quick;” and, in time, I hope to add to that list.  


I am originally from Southern California, where I lived until the great recession, when the job market became increasingly more challenging. There, I witnessed the mortgage industry collapse firsthand while working at a large mortgage processing center which shut down overnight. I take that experience as a reminder of not only how far we’ve come as an industry, but also to strive to protect the best interests of my clients. Ultimately, I decided that $500,000 starter homes and $5-per-gallon gas wasn’t for me, and it was time for me to see the world. That’s when I joined the Marines in 2006, an experience that has shaped much of who I am today. I’ve been fortunate enough to have experienced and lived in various parts of the United States – and the world – but happily settled on central Kentucky to plant my roots and call home in 2013.
 

Dainel Boone once said, “Heaven must be a Kentucky type of place.” The natural beauty of our state, combined with the diverse opportunities, make for a community that I’m proud to be a part of. I’m fortunate to have started a family in Lexington and to have my children grow in a safe and fun community. On weekend nights, you can usually find us at a local restaurant. With so many great options in Lexington, we enjoy trying them all. Goodfellas Pizzeria is a family favorite.  


My passion is to help clients from all walks of life. I strive to be curious and learn about each client’s background, career, and goals. Doing so has even made me a better Loan Officer.  I decided to become a Loan Officer because I had a subpar experience in purchasing my first home – and I felt that the process could be much better. I’m so very grateful for the clients I’ve had the opportunity to help over the years.


I also strive to make sure my clients stay informed of the industry so they can continue to make educated decisions. That’s why I launched my podcast, “Lex Talk Real Estate,” where I discuss the real estate market with industry leaders.     Very clear with instructions and made himself available to answer all of my questions and concerns. He reached out and worked with family members to continue moving the progress forward.     Nick was very patient and helped us through the process. We had constant communication the entire time. We had a medical emergency and I was in the hospital.
