My career in the mortgage industry began 38 years ago! I was employed with Waterfield Mortgage as a Closing Agent and later as a Loan Processor and for the last 18 years as a loan originator. I owned my own mortgage company for 3 years and worked as a branch manager for over 10 years. I have worked with many purchasers, sellers, realtors and builders and know what it takes to get your transaction to the closing table in a timely fashion.
I have lived in Fort Wayne since I was 9 years old and have enjoyed the many activities that The Fort offers! In my leisure time, I enjoy my family! My husband and I have 6 children, 2 grandchildren, and another one on the way! I love to spend time with them, making family dinners and just enjoying their individual differences and activities that they participate in which varies from going to rock concerts to watch my sons play then to musicals, plays and marching band to watch my grandson and niece participate in those! My husband and I also enjoy time with our friends and we are active in our church and members of The Chapel.
My work philosophy is to listen carefully to each prospective homeowner so that I can provide them with the very best mortgage product that is best for their individual needs! Great customer service and honesty is what I strive for most and I believe it brings my customers back to me for new purchases and refinancing. I look forward to working with my customers, many of whom have become friends. It truly is a blessing to now be able to say I work with my customer's children and sometimes grandchildren! My goal is to be your mortgage banker for life!
We are fortunate that we have experienced and expert staff to provide you with an overall wonderful mortgage experience. Since our processors and underwriters are in-house, that enables me to provide my clients with superior customer service! Also, since I have access to multiple investors, I can provide you with the best product and lowest interest rate on every transaction.
I am thrilled to be part of Ruoff Home Mortgage! I started with Ruoff in January, 2009 and it's been the most wonderful place I have worked in 38 years! I love the hometown bank feeling, but even more than that, I love the family atmosphere that we have here at Ruoff. Everyone -- set-up person, processors, underwriters, closers, originators and managers all work together to do whatever it takes to get the job done! I love that I can count on my company to do everything it can to provide the best customer service to my customers! Nothing could be any better than that!
My customer service philosophy is to treat every customer with respect and to make their experience as stress free as possible. I believe that the purchase of a new home is a major decision and should be treated as such. I strive to make this decision as easy as possible for each client by being honest and trustworthy along with communicating frequently all while offering them sound and reliable advice.

Loans That End in "A"
Whether you are looking to make your first purchase or refinance, you may be able to enjoy the benefits of a FHA, VA, or USDA loan.
FHA Mortgage Insurance
Take Advantage of a Government-Insured Loan That Is Always a Safe Bet in an Ever-Changing World
FHA loans have been helping people become homeowners since 1934. The Federal Housing Administration (FHA) insures the loan, so Ruoff Home Mortgage can offer you a better deal. It is because of that insurance that FHA loans can offer attractive interest rates and with less stringent and more flexible qualification requirements. FHA loans may be used to purchase or refinance a new or existing 1-4 unit family home or condominium unit.
Highlights of the FHA Loan
Down payment of just 3.5%. That money can come from a family member, employer or charitable organization as a gift. Other loan programs do not typically allow this. Low credit score requirement and flexible qualifying guidelines. No income limit on borrowers. 15 or 30-year term with competitive rates. Non-occupant co-borrowers can be used to help qualify.
FHA Eligibility Criteria
Must occupy the property as your primary residence. Maximum loan amount limits that vary by region/city. A borrower is limited to one FHA loan at a time. Must meet the minimum credit score requirement. Must have sufficient income to qualify.
The FHA 203(k) Program
Interested in purchasing a foreclosed property, but don't have the extra cash needed for necessary repairs? The FHA 203(k) loan product is the perfect solution. The FHA 203(k) is a special loan product for borrowers who need extra cash to make repairs to their homes. The chief advantage of this type of loan is that the loan amount is not based on the current appraised value of the home, but on the projected value after the repairs are completed. A "streamlined" 203(k) allows you to finance up to $35,000 in nonstructural repairs, such as painting and replacing cabinets or fixtures. The 203(k) loan can be used to repair a home you're planning to purchase or to make upgrades to your current home.
